Where we stand

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA across joinownerup.com. Most of the site meets that standard today. Two third-party tools embedded on the Apply page are outside our direct control, so we've built a plain-email path around them. Details below.

What we've done

  • Text and interface colors are checked against WCAG contrast ratios, with a darker variant of our brand green reserved for small text and buttons.
  • Every part of the site works by keyboard alone, and focus is always visible.
  • A "skip to main content" link is the first thing a keyboard or screen-reader user reaches.
  • Semantic headings, landmarks and lists structure every page, so assistive technology can navigate it properly.
  • Images and illustrations carry descriptive alternative text; purely decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
  • The site respects your operating system's reduced-motion setting.
  • Layout reflows to small screens and to 200% zoom without loss of content or horizontal scrolling.
  • No content flashes, auto-plays or moves on its own.

Known limitations

Two embedded third-party tools sit on our Apply page, and we don't control their code:

  • The application form (HubSpot). Rendered inside HubSpot's own frame. Its labeling, error messaging and focus behavior are set by HubSpot.
  • The booking calendar (Cal.com). Rendered inside Cal.com's own frame. Its date grid and time picker are set by Cal.com.

Because of this, you never have to use either one. Email hello@joinownerup.com with your name and company and we'll take your application and set up a time by email. That path is fully equivalent and gets the same response.

Tell us if something doesn't work

If you hit a barrier anywhere on this site, or you need something here in a different format, we want to hear about it. Email hello@joinownerup.com with the page you were on, what you were trying to do, and what got in the way.

We aim to reply within three business days and to fix confirmed issues promptly. If a fix will take time, we'll tell you that and give you a workaround in the meantime.

Sessions and membership

Owners' Table sessions run virtually on Microsoft Teams, which supports live captions, keyboard navigation and screen readers. If you need a specific accommodation to participate fully, tell us before your first session and we'll arrange it. That conversation stays between us.

How this was assessed

This site has been evaluated by self-assessment against WCAG 2.1 Level AA, including automated checks and manual keyboard and contrast testing. It has not been audited by an independent third party. We'll update this statement as the site changes.
